Mine arrived in perfect shape. Fairly thick steel. Can't be used to smother a fire because that's just the way these fire pits work.

Is just what was needed to cover the Solo fire pit.

Better than the actual name brand. Very sturdy! Handle is great. Very happy with this purchase.

Fits great and the price is way better then the solo stove brand. The handle is just a bit tall forms liking and looks wierd.

Than the lid that came with the stove. Actually fits and keeps rain out of the unit.

We have a Yukon Solo Stove and needed a lid to keep the embers covered. We didn’t want to pay $200 for the matching SS lid (w/o a handle). Who buys a lid without a handle for a fire stove?? That’s insane!! Upon opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the handle has a heat resistant grip. This lid is perfect and way nicer than expected! If you own a Solo Stove, definitely buy this lid.

This fits the solostove bonfire perfectly and I like it for the fact that at the end of the evening I can close it up with this lid and know that the embers are contained. What I don’t like is the big handle! It’s always cold whenever I handle it it so it’s easy to grip the edges. I would prefer it to just be a flat surface that can then double as a table top (when cool!). I could plug the holes but that will look stupid too. Overall good value for money and it works.

I use this for an outdoor fire pit, very easy to put out with the lead, and lots of accessories for the stove are available.
