Works perfect for my 4 year olds pool!!
I purchased this to use as a filter for my child's kiddie pool. I also purchased skimmer pool filters which I modified and attached to the pump. It works great and saves lots of water because I don't have to dump the pool water every other day!!

Bad pump and started smoking
was really hopeful when I purchased the AQUANEAT Fountain Pump for my turtle tank, but unfortunately, my experience with it has been nothing short of a nightmare. After just a few days of use, the pump started to show signs of weak performance, barely circulating water. I cleaned the filter thoroughly, thinking it might be a clog, but the issue persisted. It seemed like the motor was losing power, and the pump wasn’t living up to its promises of steady, reliable operation. But here’s where it gets really bad. Just a few weeks after the return period had passed, the pump started to smoke. Yes, you read that right—smoke started coming from the motor! I was horrified. It was clearly a sign that something had gone terribly wrong inside, and at that point, I realized I had wasted my money on a faulty, unreliable product. The build quality of the pump felt cheap from the beginning, with flimsy plastic components that didn’t inspire confidence. Now, after the smoke incident, I’m almost certain it’s not built to last, and I’m left with a potentially dangerous, broken pump that I can’t return or replace. In summary, my experience with the AQUANEAT Fountain Pump has been a huge disappointment. It didn’t perform as advertised, barely circulated water, and eventually became dangerous to use. I wish I’d known about these issues before the return period ended, but now I’m stuck with a pump that failed spectacularly. If you’re looking for a reliable, long-lasting pump for your turtle tank, I highly suggest you look elsewhere. This one just doesn’t cut it.

Hose doesn’t fit
Hose doesn't fit so I can’t use it as attended at this time. Had to use tape to make it fit

Good, quiet, reliable pump
The media could not be loaded. Very quiet - all you hear is the water. We've tried one pump that was disappointing as the motor was so loud, and two others that we had to pretty much daily unplug and reset the pump to make it work. This pump is a home run! Highly recommend.

Tubing won’t stay in
Bought this to use with our water table. No instructions, but pretty straight forward. The tubing does not stay in the pump no matter how I try. Even used duct tape to try and make it work and that failed. If/when the tubing is connected, it works well. Too bad it only flows for about 10 seconds before the tube detaches. It’s the perfect size, just a waste of money if you want something that is plug-in and play.
