Brüller Kaffi Espresso Portafilter Drying Wipes

Just gotta give props to these Espresso Portafilter Wipes – total game-changer! No more messy cleanups after pulling shots. These wipes are like espresso magic erasers, making my machine look brand new every time.

Unlike many espresso enthusiasts who use a microifiber towel to clean the portafilter between pulls, I have for many years simply used a kleenex tissue. They are large enough to absorb all the residual moisture and clean coffee ground remnants effectively.When I saw the KAFFI Espresso Potafilter Wipes, I decided to try them, even though the product seemed a bit pricey. While I can confirm that they will dry an otherwise clean portafilter, they are too small to be effective, IN MY OPINION. The small size, stiffer paper material, and cost per wipe, all led me to this conclusion. Additionally, because the portafilter is very hot after the pull, the small wipe doesn't offer much protection from the hot metal.My included photos show the KAFFi wipes, tissues, and hand towelettes that I have staged close to my ECM Espresso Machine and Ceado E37S Grinder. The KAFFI's are too small and the hand towelettes are too large. For me, a typical box of tissues is just right to clean and dry a portafilter between pulls. I wanted to see the KAFFI wipes perform well, but I did not have that experience and I prefer the basic kleenex tissue for this task. Price really wasn't a concern, but when adding this factor, there is even less incentive to buy the KAFFI's again.This review is simply my opinion and I hope you have a better experience if you buy the KAFFI Wipes.

Honestly, I don't get this product. I mean I understand the purpose, but it doesn't clean my portafilter any better than a clean dry paper towel.

They are a great product that I use every time I make espresso.

This has saved me from wasting my paper towels and works A LOT better than my paper towels. They indeed do not leave residue which is AMAZING, they're thin but not cheap and they do not break down easily. They work as advertised and for home use, I LOVE IT!
