Rubie's Costume Co ZAPATA Mustache, Light Brown, Multicolor

Easy to style the way I wanted with a pair of scissors, and the color looks very natural. A little on the shiny side, but I’m sire that could be taken down if needed.Stuck it on with eyelash glue, and although spirit gum is probably the better option, it worked great and was easy to talk, eat, and drink in.

Used for a Sonny Bono costume. Looks more realistic than most. Its not self adhesive, so it took me a while to figure out the best way to secure it. I ended up using eyelash glue that my wife had. It worked great. I had to reapply glue later in the evening, but it was comfortable, moved with my face, dried clear and no skin irritation.

We dressed up as orderly Hal and the old granny from Happy Gilmore for Halloween. My husband has never been able to grow enough facial hair to make a costume look complete, thus needing to purchase fake mustaches. This fake mustache looks pretty realistic but did need some adhesion assistance to make it last all night, which we purchased from Amazon. Since my husband doesn’t normally have facial hair, everyone had a blast seeing him with his new look!

The mustache is perfect for a Boomer costume, but this product comes with no type of glue for your face. It's a 3 because I was unable to use it because I had no glue, would be a 5 if it came with it.

I use this brand of mustache all the time for costumes, they are perfection! They look super real. Yes, you will need to buy some adhesive to attach it, spirit gum will do the trick. So ignore the negative reviews, it's just from people who didn't realize this is a lace back mustache and not an adhesive back.

Nothing to adhere with it, doesn't even suggest that you need an adhesive. We finally went out and bought moustache adhesive and it didn't even work. Definitely not like the pictures either. Would NOT recommend.

Photo for the item I ordered shows the mustache color as clearly BLACK. The 3 options for available mustaches are described on that page as "Dark Gray", "Multi-Colored", & "Multicolor". Ordered item "Multi-Colored" based on the image displaying BLACK. Packaging for the item I received clearly lists "Lt. Brown". Now upon review the true description for the item's color pops up once it's in your Amazon Cart: “Rubie's Costume Co Zapata Mustache, Light Brown, Multicolor”. So be very careful when ordering or you might end up with an item that is useless for your Halloween costume needs. (Like if you have a black wig and receive a light brown mustache. In any event, I’ll be returning the “Multi-Colored” (AKA: Lt. BROWN) one.

BUY COSTUME GLUE ALSO!!!! So I bought this for a GroomsMAID purposal. The card said “send a picture wearing this if you accept”. Unfortunately when I received it I was disappointed as I had no idea it wouldn’t be adhesive.However, the mustache is good quality! I have saved it for future gags, but just keep in mind you need to buy costume glue to apply it. Also the mesh behind it will need a little makeup to cover.
