This item was bought as a present and the child loves the bright colorful cards.Value for money and an excellent learning tool.

I am very pleased with this, perfect for helping children to learn Irish.

For beginners learning the Irish language these plastic coated cards give an easily portable source of on-the-go memory testing. Very handy.

Really good set with great pictures. We're using it to teach my daughter more irish but also to work on my younger childs english.

My family will be moving to Ireland in the next six months and my 4 year old son will be starting school there mid way through the first year. As learning Irish is a compulsory part of the curriculum there my husband and I bought these cards with the corresponding book in order to try and teach him some basic vocabulary beforehand. The cards look great and he was immediately interested in using them however, no assistance is given with pronunciation so it has been impossible to use them effectively. Such a shame because the idea is great.

Irish deck. Large cards bigger than playing cards. lightly laminated, 50 cards, 10 numbers, a couple of colors and the rest simple nouns. no pronunciation guide which is just as well as it's better to get that online. picture and word on one side word alone on the other. the English is in small letters in the corner that you can cover with your thumb if you don't need it.
