I am VERY happy with these, they are more expensive than I wanted to pay, but I am even going to buy more. I love that it is NOT from the fish, but where the fish get their Omega 3 DHA directly. I am not hurting an animal with this product, and I am getting the Omega from the source, directly, and hopfully avoiding mercury which fish have been known to be high in.

What I love most about this product is that is great for anyone who is vegan. The added benefit of not worrying about mercury contamination from the fish used in other Omega-3 formulations convinced me to try this.

My first impression was that the product is highly refined. I was expecting a fishy odor because I was using IWI's EPA/DHA that I got from Sam's Club for about a year and that was dark, more gooey, and had a fishy odor, which are all attributes to me of a less refined and more natural substance. However, the average customer who through cultural conditioning has been molded to love artificial and hate natural will likely love these because they have barely any odor, most probably won't even detect it.The only reason I got these is because after a price analysis for mg of DHA it turns out to be a better deal. But honestly I'd rather pay more and get what seems to be the much less refined version. Before buying this I contacted IWI because I suspected this product might be highly refined due to purification techniques to get DHA by itself, but I have yet to receive an answer.

I wanted to like this product, but the two bottles I recently purchased are filled with soft-gel capsules that contain white, mold-like substance floating inside of the DHA capsules.

I liked the oil but the ingredients then listed sorbitol. Was hoping for no additional ingredients besides the capsule.

I find these to be a great choice verses Fish Oil. They are smaller than a fish oil capsule therefore easier to swallow and don't have the annoying "burp" factor. It would seem they have the same effect as fish oil on my cardiovascular system so this is a winner in my book.

I love this vegan alternative to fish oil supplements! They are easy to swallow and they have no aftertaste. They are a little expensive but seem to be high quality. I would recommend giving them a try!
