I purchased this little blue drum as a birthday gift for my 8 year old niece who has shone an interest in playing my much larger 15 note drum. This little drum has 11 notes that ring nicely, and is a good size for her to carry. It came in a sturdy box with two little mallets, a smaller third mallet, a music book, extra number stickers, and a soft cloth storage bag. It is a good value for the money. Of course I had to play it a bit and was pleased with its higher pitched sounds.. I think my niece will enjoy it also once she receives her gift.

I got this for my grand daughter. The blue is sparkly and beyond beautiful and though it sounds odd, it feels really good to hold it in your hands. Not impressed with the mallets.I was able to play Twinkle Twinkle within minutes, and I don't play instruments. I have no expertise to know if this is a good drum, but it's gorgeous, has lots of notes and looks like it will last many years.The sad part is that the reason I bought this is I saw one on YouTube just being rained on in the yard and the melody was utterly enchanting. I have tried rain and the kitchen sink and barely hear a super quiet sound now and then. Certainly not an enchanting melody. Boo.

Wow what a great sound this steel drum makes. Light weight metal and versatile. I love it. I ordered it in purple and it's a real pretty color. It's so relaxing to play and I'm having fun trying to play it. Can't put it down. It comes with 3 different size drum sticks, extra rubber drum tips and extra number sticker for the keys. Also included is a song book. It's great for any age, but I bought it for the tranquility and how it relaxes me when I play it. Sound like spa music. My sister has a mini one, and I was so impressed by it, I had to have one too.

Fun, Nice color, most of the tongue chimes sound good except the high note doesn't sound clean.

This drum is heavy, around 10 pounds, but the sound is mellow with good reverberation and the high notes are louder and clearer than other drums. This one is a keeper.

Beautiful gloss and the sound resonates nicely. There is a plug on the bottom and without the plug the sound resonates even louder! It comes with 3 mallets and some rubber finger tips for the tongue drum. I got this as a gift for my grandson that turned 7 and he loves it so much. There is a rubber piece around the drum allowing to hold with your legs. And the price is affordable yet the quality is better than I was expecting. This is my 2nd tongue drum purchase.

This was a perfect birthday gift to a young teen nephew.

Me gustó mucho, es de buena calidad pero dado su tamaño es un poco agudo, así que funciona genial para niños o para trabajar con niños, no precisamente para estados meditativos profundos con adultos. Me pareció una muy buena forma de empezar a conocer y tocar este tipo de instrumentos.
