The Legend of Zelda Hylian Shield Backpack

This thing is awesome! First of all, it should be pointed out that it is BIG. If it were made of metal it is the size and shape of a real shield. I bought this for my son, but I’m gonna keep it for myself. Not out of being selfish, but it is almost as tall as he is... Amazon requested a review and I am looking at this brilliant display of craftsmanship and I can’t find a thing wrong with it. It would be perfect for cosplay, but do note that if you buy a sword for it, the sword will need to be slender for sure. The one that I got will most likely not work. I am not going to send it back regardless because my boy loves Zelda games and well, I am not trying to take a sword away from anyone ever! Lol The product is great. Just keep in mind that it is big. A middle schooler might even look awkward toting this around... I took a picture of it next the BOTW case so you can compare it. I found no flaws in the stitching either. This thing is perfect for the right buyer.

I thought this would be a cheaply made novelty, but it appears to be a pretty high quality pack. The internal compartment is a bit oddly-shaped (shaped like a Hylian shield, so…), but there are several internal pockets for organizing your stuff. It might be a good idea to divide the large main compartment with stuff sacks like backpackers and hikers use. Otherwise your junk is just gonna be rolling around in there.…but you don’t buy a Hylian shield backpack for the backpack part! As part of a costume or just to nerd-out, it’s great. Super high quality recreation of the shield from the games. No paint splatters or lazy overspray. It’s crisp with a great finish. The “silver” parts are just high-gloss gray; no shimmery paint or metallic color. The back is a nice-looking faux suede in blue with a quilted texture.Lots of nice little details.

Just wow! I’m very impressed with this legend of Zelda backpack. The material is very well made, the straps look and feel like real lether, and the attention to detail is overall amazing. I was also surprised at the big size of it as well. Big enough to pack a good amount of stuff and have it stretch in the back to fit more. I bought this for my husband to surprise him as he is a big fan of the franchise. I originally wanted to buy him a captain America version of this backpack, but it was way too expensive so I went this route instead, and I am not disappointed and you won’t be either especially for the price. If youre a fan or someone you know is, this backpack will surely impress enough to even bring to comicon.

This backpack is EXACTLY what I was looking for. My 7-year-old son is going to dress up as Link for Halloween and I wanted a high quality shield that would be easy for him to carry on his back. The hard shell shield is detailed and looks exactly as pictured. The backpack itself is double stitched, quilted material with leather straps and metal accent pieces. This is, without a doubt, the best quality licensed Zelda product I have ever seen. The sword holder sewn in to the material along the back keeps our foam Master Sword securely tilted at the perfect angle. After Halloween, it is still an extremely high quality backpack that will get a lot of use. I would give this product 6 stars if I could.

Official Nintendo product! The paint job on the shield shell is high gloss and very well done. The backpack straps are adjustable, and great quality material. The same can be said for all parts of this product-- especially the straps, plastic shell, zipper tassles and blue fabric back with the sword sheath. I would have been happier if this product was $20 cheaper, however, I'm so satisfied with the paint job, overall appearance and quality of this product, I don't even mind paying $100 for it. The inside is also nice, with multiple compartments. Very satisfied.

We ordered this as my 10 year old sons school backpack. First off. The quality is absolutely amazing. The straps are so thick and the buckles are metal for extreme durability. The sheild part is really thick plastic and it holds up really well. My son kept getting stuck in the doors to school because it's clearly an adult sized pack so he used it for his Halloween costume this year. Overall I am still super happy with this product even though it isn't being used for school, my son will still use it for his costume and playing.

I got this as a school backpack for my son. This thing is huge! the backpack is really big, but my 6th grader is in love with it! The one thing I will say is that I was disappointed that I found it on THINKGEEK for 12.99 plus $8 in shipping is still less then what I paid for it here!

My 7yo LOVES this. It is big. He uses it like a suitcase to go see grandparents and we always get lots of comments on it. It is adult sized so it’s a little big on the little guy and the straps are a bit too far apart for his narrow chest, but he doesn’t care.

La mochila es muy grande, muy bien hecha y de muy buena calidad, tal como se describe y se muestra el producto. Tengo otra de Hylian Shield que aparte de que salió mas cara está toda aguada y se deforma. Esta al ser de plástico sólido conserva su forma y luce excelente.

Me encantó el acabado del producto, tiene muy buen tamaño, lo único que es un poco molesto en los brazos, es el metal que trae en las correas.

Es de buena calidad, amplia con varios compartimientos, los cierres estan bien fabricados y es de un material resistente. Recomendado.

El regalo perfecto para el cumpleaños de mi hijo. La mochila es muy práctica y de buena calidad.
