I use it for fire starting
Cut into small pieces, this is excellent jute for use in a fire starter kit. Keep in a small plastic bag, use a ferro rod to start. The rope is quality fo other purposes as well.

Not frayed
This was a great product. It wasn't frayed, which was totally fine. It was about the with of a pencil, maybe just slightly thicker.
