Red bean turned out to be an underrated flavor

I barely tasted any sweetness and tasted mostly salt. I think if they lessened the amount of salt they put in, it would taste delicious ! I could still tasted the red bean and liked that this one's sauce was a bit thicker than the savory ones that they have. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't buy this flavour again unless they minimised the sodium :) (I love all their other flavours!!)

Different kind of taste, but not bad.

The Yopokki Instant Tteokbokki Cup (Red Bean, Cup of 2) has instructions in English on the side that you’re supposed to add the noodles, sauce packet and water to the inside line, then partially cover and microwave for 3 minutes for a 1000W microwave. I verified that my microwave is 1000W and followed the instructions exactly. It seriously overcooked my dish! The sauce was very gummy and had a slight burnt aroma from where the ends of some of the noodles dried up. So be careful of the time you cook them for and do not follow the time on the packet! The portion inside the cup is very small. More like a small snack than a meal. I enjoy tteokbokki and was looking forward to this flavor. The sauce is a sweet red bean flavor. There is no spice, it is mild, sweet and a little bland. The texture of the tteokbokki were fine, other than the ends that burned. It was fun to try this, but it is definitely not a good value for the price.

I've had other flavors of this product but the red bean one is not it

This is pretty surprisingly good Tteokbokki considering all you do is add water and pop in the microwave. This is a sweet, not at all spicy flavor, so it's great for the ~*Little Prince*~ spice intolerant folks you may have in your life. But if you want it spicy you can add Gochujang or Buldak sauce anyways. The texture is very comparable to the normal frozen dry tteokbokki that I normally get and have to soak then rinse and simmer for a long while, and it only takes a few minutes. The serving size is good for a generous snack for one, or a side dish/dessert with a meal for 1-3 people. I did microwave it a bit more to make it a bit more tender, but that's up to your preference.
