Hasp and Staple
This was an absolute bargain and well worth the money. I wanted it to secure my shed and it did the job superbly. I would definitely buy this again. It is very sturdy and would withstand a lot. It was also easy to attach to shed door.

Looks sturdier than it is
The photos make this - admittedly pretty large and chunky in real life - hasp and staple look like a wrought-steel menace of invulnerability. It's really not all that solid - the hinge feels wobbly and like a particularly hard whack with a hammer would take it out entirely - although I'll conceed that nobody is going to be cutting through the sheer thickness of the metal any time soon. For a cupboard in a house etc it's great, but please don't use this as the sole lock on your garden shed!
