My 8 years olds craftsman jack is getting a bit too old and tired so I decided to get a new one. Got a recommendation on this Powerbuilt jack and wanted to give it a try. I will let you know about the pro and con, and why I love it so much.First, oh my gosh…. Amazon 1 day ship is no joke. I ordered this thing on my phone and this get dropped off at my house no later than 24 hours. YMMV but this is seriously quick shipping.The box come with the Jack is pretty standard, did a unboxing video on it so you can check it out if you want. Everything is assembled other than the handle. It's pretty much ready to use right away after you unbox it.Pro:My personal favorite about this Jack is the unique saddle design. I can put a jack stand directly below it! Might not sound like much but most modern vehicles built with unibody frame. That means the car have limited Jack point for you to lift up the vehicle. Now I can put the Jack stand right where I need it to be!Overall build quality is great, the Jack is easy to move around and the oversized handle provides good leverage.The lift height is very good. My old craftsman Jack is designed to lift SUV and this one can lift even higher than my old one. So definitely a big pro if you got a truck or big SUV.Con:Because of the unique design of the saddle the base on the Jack is wider. That mean if your car lift point is close to the tire it will be a bit harder to position the Jack under it. Not a big con for me personally but something people should know about.This is a good quality, very well made tool, meaning it's not the cheapest Jack you can find. If all you need or do is one oil change every few months then it might be better for you to just get a car ramp and save some money.Overall I do like this Jack a lot, it is a good quality tool with unique functions. I will recommended for anyone DIY on vehicle and need a great quality Jack.

If you do your own auto maintenance and have ever tried to figure out the safest place to jack up your vehicle so you can place a jack stand where the car manufacturer indicates, you know that in most cases the place you are supposed to place the jack and the jack stands are one and the same. Enter the U Jack! It is best jack I have ever used. All you need is a jack stand with a base no larger than 8" wide to fit between the jack. You raise the vehicle, place the stand, raise to the desired height, lower the jack and you will have a perfectly placed stand. The jack is hefty, weighing in at 75 lbs, but if you work on cars and don't have a lift, you need a U Jack. I saw some reviews that complained about the speed the jack lowers, it is user error, turn the handle slowly and you can control the drop.

Update 8-Dec-2023: Returned the star. Never got an email or call, but they just sent me the replacement bolt in the mail for free :) :) :)Thank you PowerBuilt Tools! I love this jack.Update 5-Dec-2023: Dropped a a star because of missing screw, and 2 weeks of ignored email and phone calls.PROS:Lets you lift and use a jack at the same spot on the vehicle.Faster and safer than doing it the 'hard way'Allows better access to the vehicle for service, because the lift/jack points are completely out of the way of 99% of the stuff you would work on.CONS:Missing the screw that holds the handle onto the jack, making it a pain to maneuver around (but still fully functional.RECOMMEND:1000x yes.

Whatever you guys do don't buy This Car jack It's garbage And amazon won't help you even though they sell it And they give you numbers Call this call that and nobody picks up the phone So amazon it's guilty as well And this manufactured 3rd product is garbage

As a jack it works well. But as others have said it drops faster than you want it. Also I noticed it is inconsistent. I loosen extremely slowly and some times it doesn’t move and then suddenly drops, other times it lowers slowly.

Best car jack for using jack stands. There is usually only one point in the pinch weld strong enough to jack a car. This jack makes that point the same for jacking and placing the jack stand. Make the process so much easier to place all four jack stands.

Product came with everything intact. The box was a bit torn. The item was easy to put together. If your a car guy you should know how to piece it together. It worked right out the box! I love it, I've already used it a handful of times to work on my crossover suv. The rollers moved smoothly. Some reviews say they had issues with it. Would recommend to others. The fact that your able to lift the car and then place a jack stand right at the slot where the U shaped piece is, is a game changer. It would be cool if other manufacturers came up with this as well

I've been using 1.5-2 ton rated floor jack(s) over the years to lift vehicles I've owned. This 2 ton jack gives me complete confidence, regardless of vehicle weight, to lift with an extra margin of safety & confidence. My current heaviest lift is the front/rear end of a 1993 Dodge B250 van (6400 GVW). I believe the UJack extra wide front wheel(s) spread provides additional safety and stability.The supplied Operating & Maintenance Instruction Manual provides valuable information for operation.A well built jack that will give years of satisfactory service!I bought the jack online through Alltrade on Amazon.
