This charging base functions as intended and fits nicely in the otherwise limited use tray. Yes, it is expensive, but if you want to eliminate the use of cords for charging it is worth it. If you have a really thick phone case it might be a tight fit.

Doesn't fit larger phone in slim cases. I have the Pixel 8 Pro with an ultra slim case on it. My phone doesn't sit flat unless I take the case off and it still has to be "pressed" into place to sit flat. I sent this back.

Fits my S21 Ultra and fast charges! I recently went to the dealership and got a lot of questions on where I got it. Was such an easy install I got a second one for my mom's Forester.

Charging is extremely slow with no case on my iphone. It is even worse with a case on. I wouldn’t recommend this premium price point for such a terrible product.

Someone added 2024 to the description at the top of the page. I purchased it and it does not come close to fitting the 2024. It does seem well made and sturdy so if you have something before 2024 it’s probably a good choice.

Had to updateBought in May 2023. Worked well at first. Liked so much bought a one for another Forester.6 months later, the iPhone gets very hot from charging and charges much slower than before.Still looks great. But worry about over heating phone. Since no longer fast charging. Plan to remove and reinstall original non charging pad.Wish it worked out but back to wired charging.Install is easy if you can read the very tiny print on the instructions. I had to use the camera on my phone to zoom in on text and graphics clearly. Use the orange tool to remove the base of the cubby in front of the shifter. After connecting the power snap the charger in place. It fits in place perfectly. Looks OEM. Charges my iPhone Pro and Pro Max👍👍👍

Really like the integration - looks factory and fits perfectly. I did have to remove the center console to access the arm rest power outlet, but still only took about 10-15 mins to install. Good charge, fits great, phone doesn’t slide around on the charger. 2021 Forester Sport for reference.

First off the directions for installing this are dead wrong. At least they were in mine. They basically told me to remove the whole center console but that wasn't needed at all. Just pop off the tray that came with the car and put this in its place and plug into the cigarette lighter.This charges much faster than a previous wireless charger I had for the car and it looks much better too. It was almost twice the price tho.Only downside so far is it makes it impossible to use the 2nd USB plug but as long as the other one holds out I won't need it anyway

Fits beautifully and works exactly as advertised. Took all of 2 mins to install and when paired with an Android auto wireless adapter, rids me of untidy cables!
