AU-RD210 50-210W/VA Round Dimmable Electronic Transformer

I used this product to replace a failed step down transformer on a light cluster comprising of 8 LEDS and am quite impressed by the ease of installation and brilliant performance of the product.

This component was to replace the existing transformer in a light fitting. Easy to install and does what it is supposed to do.

Bought as a replacement transformer for a roof light that used 20 x 12vac GU4 Tungsten Halogen lamps as the original KAOYI model KTB 210A transformer was no longer made. Apart from the Aurora logo and it was white it was an exact replacement and worked well and has a 10 year guarantee.

The media could not be loaded. To buy same unit was £135🤣. Already bought one of these in past for other light, been in 4 years now and this spot on for other light thats recently been throwing sparks abd dimming. All screws to secure wires. Id say its slimmer than the original and has air vents Very happy. Good excuse if broke to clean light too....yuck!

What a find - this really is the better product than that supplied - the connection diagram is easy to follow to, just one thing - it fits extremely well in those ceiling fix pendants that run 10 or so bulbs - no trade name! - which isn't clear from the transformer instructions - yet common sense! I'd buy one again!

Great, works flawlessly. Easy to install, exit points a bit small if you have 2 wires going out to 2 circuits in the light but managed to get then in. Have used the 105W in a smaller light a few years ago and it's still working OK.

My wife says it buzzes slightly, I can’t hear it, so it’s stayed, too awkward to take down again

Bonjour, J'ai posé la question concernant la possibilité du branchement derrière un variateur, transformateur "dimmable".Il fonctionne parfaitement, et même la variateur qui dissipe parfois de la chaleur de manière significative ne chauffe pas.Ce transfo est donc un des (le seul) que j'aie trouvé qui fonctionne correctement.La fabrication est de parfaite qualité.Note 1 : je viens de l'installer en remplacement sur un luminaire neuf à lampes 12V halogène (160W max) équipé d'un transfo électronique qui bien que documenté (vendeur anglais) comme "dimmable" ne l'était pasNote 2 : Ce transfo devrait à mon humble avis pouvoir alimenter des éclairages à diodes pour des fortes puissances donc j'envisage de faire les contrôles et le test, si quelqu'un peut confirmer ou infirmer, merci d'avance, sinon je ferai les contrôles et le test et tiendrai au courant ici.

Fiable mais chauffe beaucoup à bien ventilé car risques incendie j en ai eu l expérience rester méfiant à la durée d allumage
