Wow, a whole different design for this putter ball picker upper. I have always used the screw in plastic ones with 3 or 4 plastic fingers. These all worked ok and would perhaps last almost a season, maybe 30-40 rounds before a finger or 2 would crack off. Then it was time for a new one.This new gadget is great with a different design than I am used to. The main larger screw went right into my putter and fits tight. I did not need to use the 2 smaller screws at this time...perhaps they come in handy for a different type of putter. It picks up the balls nice and the best part is that it snaps shut when not in use so the fingers are less likely to get damaged or snap off.Not sure how long this will last but for now it is great. 4 comes in the pack for replacements or to give to golf buddies. These are worth it folks.

I like that this retriever is small, unobtrusive and easy to use. Initially, it didn't look like it would work because there was no spring or give to the components, but it works perfectly.AND - you can make friends by giving them to other people because why would you need four of them?It is a great item!

I have a PXG putter, the end of the grip is like an oval shape large grip. There is a hole in the top of the grip by design as do pretty much every putter I have seen, anyway the larger mount screw of the ball Picker Upper attached perfectly in the grip hole very snuggly. Then the two smaller screws which went in easily too. All in all, I'd be surprised it it took me more than 60 seconds and it looks like it's part of my club cause it folds down flat an is shaped perfect for my club. Older guy with a bad back and if you play golf, you know how hard a golf swing is on your body, now at least there's 18 times less I will have to bend over. Only drawback is it does not have a release that could set my ball on the tee!!!

You make a great putt and your thoughts turn from joy to distress. Now you have to retrieve your golf ball out of the oh so accommodating cup. But wait, you have installed a Komost golf ball picker upper on the end of your putter handle. Flip the picker open and your are back to joy as you impress your playing partners with your new golf accessory. Eventually you even retrieve their balls from the cup and they want to know where to get one! It does help if the end of your putter grip is similar in shape to the golf ball picker upper. I have two putter and on one of them the large attaching screw matched up perfectly.
