Love love love this yoga mat! I really like that it’s longer and a bit wider than standard mats, I feel like I have enough room to properly exercise and not feel like I’m gonna go off my mat. On that note, I find it to be adequately non-slip, even when my hands or feet get a little sweaty (which is pretty much every time I work out or do yoga). The back of the mat is a different, “heftier” texture which helps it from sliding. It’s also the perfect thickness. I have RA so I wanted a thicker mat to add more cushion. So far I haven’t felt any discomfort from it being too thick or thin.I wanted to do yoga while in Europe this past March and it was very easy to carry my mat around with me. It came with a Velcro strap and cord for carrying which works well and held up through lots of traveling; I had a cloth bag that was large enough to fit the rolled-up mat in, so I tucked in the edges and put the cord and strap around it. I’ll probably purchase a real yoga mat carrying bag soon but for now this works.Some reviewers mention an odor when they first received their mat but mine had none whatsoever.I ordered the green turquoise and it’s really a beautiful color. It makes me feel motivated to exercise, it’s a strong and uplifting color but not too bright.Overall I’m very pleased with this mat. It’s a great price too, I’d buy it again.

Works great. Good feel. No smell. And most importantly, non slip.

I will update this after I’ve used the mat for awhile.It has a nice thickness that provides comfortable cushion in the knees and back. I no longer have to add a pad in the knee area for when I need to be on my knees.I do wonder if the thickness makes my balance a little off in certain poses. The jury is still out on that one, so I’ll update later.I do heated vinyasa and my hand feel like they slide a bit in downward facing dog. I have not tried my towel yet so I’ll see how that goes.So far the mat is decent and I find the alignment marks so helpful. That is the biggest plus for me.*Update*Many classes later with and without my towel and I'm sad to say I am returning both. The thickness of the mat is a real problem when it comes to stability in standing poses. It's unsafe for me and I end up having to modify my practice when anyt poses like that come up. The thickness is lovely for knees and for the back, but in trying a Jade Harmony mat I had no problem with discomfort in those areas. My hands constantly slide, even at the beginning of my practice before I am sweaty. My low back is hurting me today after having to make too many readjustments from my hands and feet sliding. And from the instability while trying to do one legged standing poses.I will miss the alignment markings, that was a great plus. The mat is also bulkier than I'd like for transporting.While I am sure this mat is perfect for lots of people it is not working out for me.—Update 2—The mat is very good for standard yoga or exercise. Very comfortable on the knees and back for those of us with years of wear and tear who need a little cushion. The makers of the mat are very nice and their customer service is wonderful. They pointed me in the right direction to get a mat that would work better for my heated yoga classes.

I tried several yoga mats. This one by far my most favorite. It doesn't slide, is not too thin. Nor is it thick where you can'tbtwist on it. Perfect design!

I am a yoga teacher, and enthusiastic practicer, who got into yoga initially to recover from and then avoid further injuries for my rowing/sculling. I am now teaching a yoga for rowers course in France, and absolutely love these mats. I used one this morning, before getting a prod email to write this review, and had been thinking how pleased I had been with it, despite a scuff mark or two...They hardly smell (really really important for me not to have a stinky mat!); they do not slip when I am sweating and press quickly into the bridge (I have often slipped doing this or some other move on other makes of mats... I have yet to slip on the Heatyoga one & this gives me greater confidence during practice), and I love the reference points (great for becoming more aware of alignment and progress in practice). They are soft so when I fall (while doing a handstand or headstand variation) I have a cushioned/soft landing - well tested this morning, where I fell due to over-exuberancy in both ... this being tried & tested also gives me confidence to stretch further ... myself/my practice!!).I liked the mat so much, I bought another set for a group of people coming for classes (& shall get even more if I ever have bigger classes, or just to replace these when I wear them out!!) and far prefer them to all the other mats I have tried/have/bought (even compared with far more expensive ones). I like the bright turquoise colour/color one I originally just bought because it was cheaper, but really like it. It is one of a small number of things I shall be taking to India on my advanced teacher training at the start of next year. Can not recommend these enough. Good value. Very cushioned great for floor exercises. Not sure of grip or hand slip yet. Happy so far with price paid, the durability and textured feel of the mat. Does not fold small so will need a bigger bag if planning to carry around.

Y es muy suave y resistente para su uso.Llevo usandola un mes todos los días y como nueva.Los pies y las manos se adhieren muy bien y el detalle de las marcas para ciertas poses es un acierto :)Viene con correa para transporte y para atar la alfombrilla.Recomiendo su compra.
