Love Berlin. The book looks lovely but let's be honest, its not cheap.

Flawed but influential
Berlin became a darling of the anglophone intelligentsia as he told them what they wanted to hear: that their conception of freedom was correct. Overrated as a result, he's never fallen entirely out of favour. His notion of negative v positive freedom crops up everywhere despite being quite inadequate. Still, this the place to find what the fuss was about.

Superb
As someone who agrees with Berlin in regards to Negative and Positive Freedom, I don't wish to appear biased to this works. However, as I borrowed the book from my University library for a piece I was writing on liberty, I could not help but be immensely impressed by what I was reading. For anybody who is keen on philosophical and political discussion, this book is a necessity.
