Cellulose Powder 9 Ounces

Recently found a lethargic silverfish on the table and decided to save her from spiders. She ate oats but remained listless. Since feeding her this powder she zips about her favorite spots in her terrarium euphorically. So, if you don't like silverfish, be careful to keep the package completely resealed during storage.

I use this powder to brush my teeth with since I have too many sensitivities to toothpaste ingredients. Works great, cleans my teeth and isn't harsh or abrasive.

This is a review of the XPRS Nutra Microcrystalline Cellulose Powder – 9 oz.We live on a small ranch in a remote area and produce a lot of our own food. We also grow our own culinary spices, and collect, grow, and harvest our own medicinal herbs. We sometimes grind herbs into a fine powder and put them in gelatin capsules with a capsule filler. One problem is that we sometimes need to add filler to get the dosage just right for a particular herb, so we use Microcrystalline cellulose as a filler. It has many, many other uses as well and we use it occasionally for various other projects. It is highly absorbent, and has uses in external creams and ointments. It also may be very beneficial to the gut micro-biome, or intestinal bacteria. Having it on hand is essential for us because it just isn’t normally available for sale in our nearby small town. My focus in this review is about the quality, and value of this product. As far as quality, I believe that it is pure MCC, without other ingredients, or fillers. It is produced by a small family owned and operated business, who say “they love what they do”. Those are the kind of people I want to purchase from. I also ordered the 1.1 pound package, and comparing the cost I see that the 9 oz. package is running about $1.50 per oz. whereas the 1.1 pound package is close to $1 per oz. so, it makes sense to purchase in larger packs and save some money. Excellent quality product!

I'm impressed with the high quality and fine texture of the XPRS Nutra Microcrystalline Cellulose Powder. It's odorless and comes in a convenient, individually sealed package, which is a plus. However, I'm still navigating its uses; it doesn't dissolve as I expected in water, which is a bit of a letdown. I intended to use it as a fiber supplement and for homemade capsule-making, but I think there's a learning curve to get the best out of it.
