Cute basic timers. Very easy for kids to use. Just put the time you want face up and it gives an audible alarm when time is done. Would be great for reading time/ time out/ etc for kids.

I can only hear a faint beep within a few feet from some of the cubes. I changed the batteries twice to see if that was an issue. It made no difference. I would have returned them if the time had not expired for returning. I have another brand that works great.

My students like using these when working in small groups or with a partner. The sound is at a reasonable level, and they're not difficult to use. I don't think they'll last for more than a couple of years, as they're lightweight and seem to be of low-average construction, but for the right price, they're a nice addition to the classroom. I teach math, so I like that they're reminiscent of dice - very cute. I would recommend this set of timers as long as the price is around $2 or less per timer.
