Great replacements
I used these ro replace the originals screw in glass holders that came with our wooden shelf. These worked out better than I thought. It's not very noticeable either. Perfect fit.

Not sturdy what so ever. Easy to install. However, might actually hold to your wall if you are collecting empty plasticware

Used these for a cupboard shelf
The cupboard wooden shelves I have use peg supports which will only take a certain weight before collapsing. I decided to try these instead. As I wanted to use the holes already there I had to use plastic inserts for a tight fit. I preferred it to drilling fresh holes. It worked out very well.The suction cups are useful if the shelf isn't exactly level. You can remove them in extreme circumstances. I found it useful to place them under a noisy external hard drive as well to dampen the noise.
