No instructions and hard to tell how it should work.
Based on the Amazon photos, there should be holes in the aluminum tubes to allow adjustment of the length of the supports. There are not. I may be wrong concerning how this should work, but since no instructions were included, I can't tell.Revised: I figured out how this contraption should work and have revised my "1 Star" to "3 Stars". The bracket functions fine, once you drill the holes. My recommendation is to drill through the two bigger aluminum tubes about 1.5 inches from each end with the included drill. Then slide an aluminum piece that have flanges through one end of the tube and drill through the first hole you made at the distance that seems reasonable for you application. (For me, that was about 19" from the tip of the flange.) This will allow you to secure the flange piece with the bolt and wing nut. Repeat with the other "leg". Then you can attach the hoop on your stove, attach the flanged piece to the hoop and insert the other flanged piece on the other end. Attach that end to the mounting bracket. Once you have your stove pipe straight and know where you want to secure the mounting bracket, secure it and drill through final hole on each "leg" in the appropriate spot. This will allow you put the final bolts and wing nuts on.

Easy assembly, not for a short mount
This works great for our wood stove stack. It is not meant for a short distance though so we had to drill holes in one of the poles and mount it our own way. Gets the job done and has withstood high winds on several occasions.
