Really bright
The fittings are double insulated with a prewired 2 core flex. They have external metal clips that you fix to the mounting surface and then clip the fitting on to them. I'd recommend using your own screws as the ones that come with the kit are very soft. if you're not an electrician you can put a 13Amp plug on the flex with a 1 amp fuse and use them that way. These are a bit brighter than an equivalent sized fluorescent fitting.

Good brightness
Lights are bright and extremely thin and lightweight. Bought for outside garden home office and work well. Cable is relatively short but no problem if you use appropriate cable connections to ceiling mount.

I tried a pic but too bright.
Really really pleased with this.I have one niggle ... That lead. Why so short? I was very limited as to where I could place the light, which this time wasn't an issue. I can see it will be.This price is for TWO lights. I hadn't realised, but was pleased, as we now have a spare or one for the new place.Our kitchen isn't big, and one is enough, and really bright. Our kitchen is max 4 unit doors long, about 2 doors wide.... So not big, but this is plenty for the kitchen.This is a cold light, so no orange tint.Very easy to recommendCame fairly quickWas easy to fix up ... screws could be longer, and lead longer.Great value for 2 lights.Only bad news, this is not a fixable light, so when it stops working, you throw it out. No useable parts.

Poor packaging
Probably very good lights. Unfortunately the box ours arrived in looked as though it had been stood on in the middle and one of the lights was bent. I returned them for a refund.
