TROTEC BD15 Digital Laser Distance Meter Tester Range Finder Measure 0.05 to 50 m

I have previously used a Bosch and a Skil Laser Measure, this one beats them both on accuracy, size and features.I have to measure internal sizes of buildings, this has a large red spot which copes with open gated industrial units, even daylight conditions and it measures to three decimal points. A feature which neither of the above has is a responsive click when it locks on and records a measure. Brilliant. It is also the cheapest of all the units i checked out.Don,t bother with any others just go for this one. Even the holster is well made and the unit is so small it easily fits on my belt and doesn;t bulge my suit. One final note, there seem to be several versions of this model under various names - I checked out their websites and TROTEC do lots of other measuring kit so I assume this is the original. If not who cares anyway!Finally, the bright yellow edging makes it easy to locate if i have left it somewhere. Full marks great product.

Pretty good. As a VFX artist I needed this to measure distances for modelling geometry to scale later, & this came in handy very well.

You get what you pay for. Accuracy was hit and miss, but was obvious when it was a miss. If you are not in a rush, then this is fine as a budget distance meter. Ensure you read the instruction manual fully, as the settings to map the room purely using the meter is a little tricky if you are not a professional. I have used a few different brands, at varying price points, and this (being the cheapest) presented the most reasonable value for money. But, just be aware of the quality of the product. Do not expect absolute ease of use and 100% accuracy 100% of the time.

This is a convenient and accurate meter with a good range and accuracy and some useful additional functions, like calculating the height of something when you can only measure the distance to the bottom and top of an object (e.g. height of a building with no overhanging eaves).The price is very reasonable for such a device and it so far appears to be just as convenient and accurate as the big name devices costing considerable more. Delivery was also very fast, which in my case was an important consideration in choosing this unit and this supplier.

I used this for measuring out a house but found that it is much more inaccurate than stated.In one try I measured the same distance 7 time and got measurements between 7.396 m and 8.148 m. The meter was pressed against three walls in a corner and not moved at all, yet produced measurements differing by up to 75cm! Very good distance meter does exactly what the product description states. Easier to use than first looks would suggest. Light to carry and gives accurate measurements.

This is a great value product for the price. Its a proper laser distance measure and so easy to use. Definitely a good buy!!

Seems to do what it says. Case plastic feels a bit chinesey but overall quality is good with nic ebutton feel. Bit fiddly to open the battery compartment , it kind of pivots around the middle (as opposed to sliding out the bottom) bu you get a screw to fix it and a screwdriver too.

Habe es schon vor mehreren Jahren gekauft, funktioniert nach wie vor einwandfrei. Sehr gute Genauigkeit, intuitive Bedienung, lange Batterielaufzeit.Mittlerweile habe ich allerdings die Schraube weggelassen, die das Batteriefach schließt, da es mir zu nervig war, den mini mini Schraubenzieher jedes Mal wiederzufinden, wenn ich die Batterie wechseln muss. Hält auch so.

Télémètre marche très bien. Après vérification avec un mètre, les mesures sont correctes. Les touches ne sont pas trop intuitives , il faut bien retenir le mode d’emploi. La mesure en continue ne parait pas marcher (ou trop lente) mais les autres fonctions marchent donc bon produit, parfait pour un bricoleur. Mesure vraiment jusqu’à 50 mètres si pas trop de soleil (point laser assez visible).

alles drin, alles dran und funktioniert einwandfrei. Wer keine mehren hundert Euronen für einen USB-Anschluss und elektronische Wasserwaage etc ausgeben kann oder will, wird zufrieden sein. Was mich auch bewogen hat, genau diese Modell zu kaufen, ist die für den Preis vollständige Ausstattung und Reichweite, sowie Schutzklasse IP54. (Die besagt nicht, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung angegeben "staub- und stoßfest", sonder es gilt nach meinem Verständnis die DIN EN 60529 (IEC 529/VDE 047 T1), und die sagt: "Schutz gegen Staubablagerung im Inneren / in schädigender Menge sowie dicht gegen Spritzwasser aus allen Richtungen". Und 50m Reichweite nutze ich in erster Linie draußen und nicht im Wohnzimmer. Wem jedoch 7,5mm Messungenauigkeit bei 50m (und erst da) (0,15mm/m) zu ungenau sind, der muss halt ca. 800€ mehr ausgeben (±1mm/200m).Mein Fazit: Für den Heimwerker oder gar SemiProfi dürfte es vollkommen reichen.

War bei Kauf (2013) und dann ein paar Jahre lang ganz toll. Wurde auch nur seeeehr selten eingesetzt. Jetzt brauchte ich ihn aber mal wieder - und es kommt nur noch eine Fehlermeldung. Batterie ist nicht das Problem (sind frische drin), der Laser geht auch raus - aber dann zeigt er mit "error" an. Sehr schade, war ziemlich teuer damals.
