Not much compression
I wear these gloves often, but I don't feel the compression too much. I may have to go a size smaller, but based on the measurements, it was the correct size.Just make sure you are measuring it correctly so that you get the benefits of the gloves.

Fingers are a little too long
In my opinion, the sizing chart is a bit 'off' and I wish I'd used standard glove sizing. My 'around the hand at the knuckles' measurement is just under 7 inches (X-Small). I ordered these in Small (7"-7.5") since I was close to the size-up point, though I usually wear a Medium in other glove types.Small is just a bit TOO snug for me - I could get them on but they were painfully tight and caused numbness. These did fit another person in the house who wears a small (medical or winter) glove usually. Both of us noticed that the fingers of the gloves were too long for typing and crafts. These came up almost to the tips of my fingers and putting the seams around the open finger ends between fingertip and keyboard keys.

Comfortable gloves, light compression
I have a lot of pain in my right wrist and some finger stiffness especially with cold. I thought these gloves might help. They are a nice quality, the material is thick enough but not restrictive. They are very comfortable to wear, add a nice light compression and warmth to my hand and wrist. They go high enough on my wrist to get that joint as well. Even with the finger cutouts it is a littler harder to type with these on, but I think that would be true for any glove. The color is more brown than I expected from the picture, but they look nice. I have average sized hands and the medium fits me well (if anyone is in healthcare I wear a size 7 in surgical gloves).

Nice, long fingers and TWO PAIRS!
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found two pair — one for home and one for work. Last year, I got a single glove that certainly helped, but it was only one — and the fingers didn’t come over my last joint. My arthritis often acts up more when my hands are cold. These are lightweight but can give that added warmth to get me over the worst of things. Not cold enough yet to be an issue, but it’s coming. I am delighted these cover my top joints, although that might make the fingers a little long for some people (I have long fingers). Guessing you could bunch them slightly, but I don’t know.I was originally afraid these were too small. I ordered small, as my hands are barely inside the small range, though the upper end. That said, these are meant to be snug, as that helps with the arthritis. Glad I didn’t go bigger.Just got these, so no idea how well they’ll hold up. They are (appropriately) a relatively thin fabric (necessary to retain mobility), but it feel pretty sturdy. I expect them to last a few years.
