Mowforce 196103, 532196103, Replacement Belt Made with Kevlar. for Craftsman, Poulan, Husqvanra, More.

This belt is an EXACT fit in the 54" deck of my Craftsman GT7400 (917.986450). I believe the manufacturer is Husqvarna, with 3 spindles that turn the "Easy Change" blades (Craftsman's moniker - I think Husky's is something like "Rapid Replace"). This belt is clearly superior to the OEM belt that wore out in just under 50 hrs of pasture mowing. The OEM belt measured only 1/2 inch in width, compared to the 5/8 inch width of this replacement. Installing the belt is straightforward, by releasing the tension rod on the left side of the deck, removing the spindle covers, detaching the retainer bar on the tensioning pulley, pulling out the old belt, then installing the new belt, following the very handy decal on the deck to ensure it is routed correctly. Take time to hand-spin each pulley, listening for noises. There is essentially no noise if the bearings are not damaged and are well-lubricated. The spindles may develop a slight noise long before they wear out, but it is likely to accelerate belt wear if they are not regularly greased through the zerks on each one. This bearing failure may cause the mower deck to vibrate during mowing, and you might see some jumping or vibrating of the belt if you view it from the side as the blades are engaged at full throttle.In my few hours of use with this belt, I see no sign of excessive wear, but I will add a follow-up comment later if it begins to show wear.

For my craftsman mower perfect. Shows no wear so far even with thick grass. I would recommend buying again.

196103, 532196103 Replacement belt was used to replaced my failed belt on my Craftsman Garden Tractor. It did match application specs. This was a perfect solution and a very good product. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. This fit like it should and worked great for me so far. It is very well made and I expect ti to last a long time. If you ever have the same problem and need to replace yours this one works.

This belt is top quality. It lasts a VERY long time as long as you don't abuse it. I'm not a professional landscaper but I do put some hours on my mowers. Sometimes I go through very tall grass with the blade down too low and I end up damaging with the belt. (I should have known better). I only buy PIX belts for my mowers.

Sorry to say I had to return. It didn't fit my mower due to miss information that may be my fault. I was able to return without any hassle and it really looked like good quality material and was unable to wait on another belt from these people cause rain was on the way and need to cut my large lot to cut

Works good so far, cant truly evaluate until its used for a year or two.

This belt works beautifully on my 2006 Sears Craftsman lawn tractor, and it is less expensive than the one I got from Sears that lasted only about 4 months. But then, it's been a year to remember for grass cutting --- so much rain, and a lot of thick grass. I am happy with my new purchase and its performance..
