Not indestructible
This is a good product but just don't think you are going to stop a large dog that is a real chewer. I have a 60lbs Akita puppy, I foster. She started fraying a corner in about a day or two. I had to take it out or it would have been shredded. That said, it's a good quality for ordinary dogs.

Durability
Our Staffy has chewed up 2 crate mats in 2 weeks. Bought this one. It has now been over a month & still holding up except for a few strings where she tried to chew!

Not chew proof
I've had this for a week for my 5 month old blue/texas heele. 1st day she found the tag and ripped it off. Since the first day she works every corner daily and has began to make progress. Definitely not gonna stop a chewing dog!!

My Aussie Puppy Didn't Read the Hype
It only took our five month old Australian Shepherd puppy 4 times in his crate for 2 - 3 hours alone before he was able to tear this bed apart. Now in fairness, the other two normal beds that he shredded were destroyed within 2 hours of us leaving him alone in the crate. The quality seems good, and the advantage is that there isn't stuffing inside of it that would not be healthy if swallowed by a puppy. The first two times, he just did a little fraying of the edges, similar to what is seen in the second picture. He took that as a challenge and was able to start ripping up the center of the bed the last time we left him in it.He will now stay in it with no bed or blanket when we are out (he never chews on a bed when he's in the crate at night when we sleep. So judge this based on your dog. If he/she is the type that can destroy a stuffed animal in a matter of minutes...this bed will fall victim as well.

Expectations blown away
I have always scoffed at "indestructible" dog beds. I have an adult Pit Bull who absolutely loves to shred her crate beds. She can have a pile of sacrificial stuffed toys with her and she won't touch them. Most of the time she's stuck just laying on the floor because there's no bed left to lay on. I decided to give this one a shot, figured I'd probably be leaving a one or two star review accompanied by a heap of shreds and stuffing. I was very wrong.First of all, a lot of these beds and other dog stuff typically has a chemical smell when you get it. This one did not which was actually surprising. Also my dog has incredibly sensitive skin and she hasn't seemed to have any issues with this bed.Now on to the durability, as you can tell by the picture she has definitely been working on trying to destroy this bed. But after about two weeks you can see what she's actually been able to accomplish. This dog can chew a hole through a wall (and has actually tried) but she has definitely met her match with this bed.My only real complaint about it is that her hair is really hard to clean off of it. I haven't tried to wash it in a regular washing machine but I did take a heavy duty shop vac to it and the hair just really struggles to come up.Overall though, this bed exceeded my expectations.

Padding the Numbers
The GF’s dog, LeeLoo, gets to go to work with her every day. Working in a Dog Salon / Doggie Daycare means she gets tons of time to run around with the daycare dogs to socialize and play. Between scheduled recesses for the paying customers, Loo spends her time napping in a kennel. So naturally Mom wants to make her space extra comfortable. While looking around the marketplace we found this Kennel Pad and were keen to give it a try. We ordered the one that was the closest fit to her kennel and waited patiently for it to arrive. The shipment showed up fairly quickly, folded up and vacuumed sealed in plastic. Opening it up I initially thought it was going to be MUCH bigger than what was ordered, however, what I thought was another layer to unfold was actually a SUPER THICK pad. We were both very pleased at how thick and cushioned the pad was. Secondly we noticed the material mimicked the type of tough toy one might get for an aggressive chewer. Naturally the material and the stitching felt very robust and durable. While Loo isn’t much of a chewer, we were both confident that if she did take to nibbling on the pad it would hold up to the abuse very well. Mom took the pad with her to work to set up Loo’s spot and it fit the kennel beautifully. In discussing the purchase we both agree that the pad is excellent quality and construction, however, the price of $46.99 is a touch excessive. Absolutely the quality is there, but for the size and price we felt it would be inaccessible or out of the question for most buyers. If you are the “only the best for my dog” sort of person, we’d say it’s a great investment. If not, there are likely similar options out there for less. A price point of say $35 would have made this a 5 star review. In the end, LeeLoo is happy and comfortable, and her mum is content in that fact, so it was money well spent.

Definitely not chew proof
I received this mat this morning. This picture was taken five hours after this was received and after my English Bull Terrier woke up from his nap.
