I purchased this unit after reading less than positive reviews about other units. Common complaint with other units was that they were battery operated and seemed to need batteries changed constantly. This unit was appealing because it plugged into an outlet. Set up was relatively simple. The only thing I wished was that there was a hole in the back of both the monitor and sensors so they could be hung by a nail/screw and didn't have to rely on the mounting tape. I did take another reviewer's suggestion to purchase better quality mounting tape. So far everything is holding securely. I find the unit is very accurate and although I set it up for our large SUV, sensors also pick up the position of our much smaller/lower sports car. This is great because the sports car is in the garage six months of the year and after it goes into storage, the SUV will occupy the garage for the winter. The instructions led me to initially believe it would only detect the front bumper of the SUV which is mhch higher than our sports car. It picks up both without any adjustments. I highly recommend this unit.

It doesn't tell you the specs on Amazon. My vehicle is about 115" from the wall when parked where I want it. The maximum reading for this is 99" to the sensor to the vehicle. It is useless for my application.

This device is amazing, as you pull the car in it starts counting down the inches away from the sensors from 99 inches down. So if you want to park 37 inches from the wall you just stop when it gets to 37 inches. Perfect. I would give it 5+ stars except for the fact that you have to keep the area in front of the two sensors on the wall open low down where your licence frame would be on the car and this limits your ability to use that area for storage which was my goal.

Easy to install and works well every time. Bought this for a stocking stuffer at Christmas and my loves it and me too for setting her up. Can park perfect every time without wondering if her car is pulled forward enough the garage door will clear her car bumper. Provides peace of mind when parking.

I bought this for my husband in mind. He wouldn't use the string with a tennis ball so I went tech. Well, he still pulls in the garage to far in. (he is getting forgetful) But hey, its a bright reminder anyway and better than the tennis ball! Carrie Gefrich

So far this has worked great. It has saved many trips getting in and out of van to check to see if hatch can open safely.. we set the 2 settings for pulling in garage and for going far enough to open hatch and close garage door... put these 2 numbers on wall and now we know when to stop ..Impressed with it.

Worked good for 8 weeks and quit.
