The instructions were good. It was easy to set up, operate and clean. One cat accepted the feeder and voice recording immediately-the other cat is a little leary of the unit but forgets that problem when he gets real hungry. First it is powered by both C batteries AND USB charging cable. It needs to remain plugged in to work, because it dies in about 24 hours. After less than 3 months of use the display panel died. Fresh batteries and new cable/charge location did not fix it.

My rabbits didn't care for this much so I eventually handed it off to my Dad for use with his cat. They used it for several months, said it was perfect for Birdie, but then one day it just stopped working. :( Based on a couple of the other reviews I read, it sounds like they need better quality control.

When I first set it up, it continually shut it self off on me.....only when using battery-powered option I believe.....it is a little confusing as to why the batteries are fine. It is not easy to get this up and running quickly. I Actually think the voice recording is just too loud the sound of the motor turning the bowls is what is scaring my one Keykey. Might be the robot vacuum's fault though Now my other cat Kicken he is very problem sloving. I have found him sticking his paws in the bowls trying to spin them early...to eat whenever he wants....It is cute i really hope he doesn't figure that out. But He definitely isnt afraid of it. so it is useful if im going away I work alot out of town.and I dont always have someone to stop buy for multiple feedings in a day... but it only sloved the issue for One cat??? Because kicken will eat everything I cannot just fill it with enough food for bothkeykey will hide like with my robot vacuum. So its going to take z while before he would even trust to eag out of it.I love watching kicken act like he will bi#th slaP it if it doesn't automatically feeder him when he wants he is trying to rob it once it is off....love it ill try to remember to get a video.... So I did get the hang of getting it to stay on but it has gone off a couple of times still and then there are times the bowl tray never spun. Or they spun 1/4 to maybe 1/2 way which messed up the following feedings. Ehh but it might be because Kicken is sticking his paws in there..... or I think there is a learning curve I may have not gotten the bowl tray in correctly lined up so it definitely is something you'll want to order earlier than you need it. And then figure out the quirks before depending On it to just work perfectly AND FEDD YOUR KITTYS....ALSO I wish it had a way to have two openings it vould be a spot to feed both cats not just one.....

I set the times for 7am, 6pm, and 11pm. Yesterday the feeder fed at the times I set. This morning my cat got his daily allowance in under 2 hours! Edit: woke up today and it was just endlessly spinning. Amazon charges to return item.

I ordered this for our dog and he loved it, and so did we. It’s especially handy for times when you’ll be away from home because it is easy to set up and it can automatically deliver 6 meals. You can also record your voice so that at each feeding it plays your recorded message. It’s a genius little feeder, but unfortunately ours stopped working. Even after trying several troubleshooting steps I still have not been able to get it to work. It simply shut off and never came back on. Very disappointing because when it worked it worked great! Hopefully they will fix the issues with future versions, and if so, I will likely order another one because I truly love the concept. If I am able to fix it I will update this review accordingly.
