We bought these to paint, but they are not made like a real skateboard. They are just a piece of nice plywood and have a very large and unnatural divit on both ends.

This is a very beautiful, sculpted deck. But it has small cracks--one not so small--around the bolt holes for the trucks. I understand these are essentially machine-drilled decks. But the quality control here is lacking. In this case, the 1/4" crack above the top right bolt hole could make the board split apart under moderate skate rat use. A skate deck is not a toy. It is an athletic device. It deserves top attention. So if you want to buy a toy, buy this one. If you want a serious deck, look elsewhere.

Could not mount trucks until I drilled new holes. They drilled holes at 2 1/16 where standard trucks are 2 1/2. I had no problem drilling new holes, but it has certainly diminished the integrity of the board.Strength and weight so far seem to be good. I personally love the ability to create a unique board, rather than have what everyone else has.Hopefully the manufacturer will fix this.

It’s nice and light weight, I am having a lot of fun painting it! I am not sure how the actual quality of the board itself is for use yet but we will see…. It will need to be epoxied to finish it otherwise I think it might splinter…. I will update my post once I put it to use this summer :)

I was looking for something that could be signed as a gift. This is not only exactly what I needed, but it can still be used as a skateboard if we choose to add the necessary parts. Perfect for customization!

Just know what you’re getting into. These can be a good creative starting point. As others have said, these aren’t suitable for use as actual skate decks but are great for shelves or art projects. I planned to use these as signs so my expectations were low. Both of mine arrived damaged but I have the tools to clean them up before starting so it’s not a big deal for me. If you are hoping that these will arrive in pristine condition you may be disappointed. Thanks to the other reviews I knew not to expect too much. These definitely have a use, tho, and if you have the tools to clean them up you can totally use them as a starting point for something cool. (Pix of damage included.)

i ordered this to make a diy skateboard bench and it was perfect for this, great quality !!

Thought i'd be lazy and try out amazon for a deck, lesson learned! Go to your local shop for a skate. I'm so disappointed in this. This is cheap quality, made in China and looks like crap. Also the screw holes on one side are not centered. No varnish, it's raw wood straight off the press. DO NOT BUY. Go local or at least order from within Canada/US.

1/10. Holes are drilled poorly, and don't fit standard skateboard trucks. They are drilled for wider base longboard trucks. Bottom and top layer of wood is chipped upon delivery. Unintentionally asymmetrical at the nose and tail. Poor quality over all
