Gecko Spruce Tone Wood 15 Keys Kalimba, Acoustic Finger Thumb Piano Music Instrument

This Kalimba sounds great. Unlike most similar Kalimbas which are made from Mahogany or Acacia (marketed as Koa), it's mostly constructed with spruce, which gives it a soft and deep tone. The curved shape is easy to hold in hand, and resonance is consistent across the tone range. It comes tuned in to G-Major scale (G, A, B, C, D, E, F#) but you can change the tuning using the small hammer included in the package. For example, I changed F# keys to F so that I can play Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and I also want to try A-Minor blues scale at some point.

It is a legit instrument. It's definitely a perfect gift for musicians since it's very easy to learn and play. I got it from my friend and I immediately play a song without too much effort. The sound is beautiful and the material is solid. Highly recommended!
