Corroless Glass Reinforced Black Rust Killer Chassis Paint 1 Ltr

This paint is the quick drying version of the Corroless anti corrosion paints, hence the manufacturers name - QDR (for quick drying). It is excellent paint, you will need two coats of this if you require a good anti corrosion finish in matt black. If you prefer red oxide finish use Coroless S (which takes slightly longer to dry). I'd strongly advise you not to combine the two..as did the manufacturer when I had to contact them.If you apply this QDR paint over Coroless S as advised by the seller above - "Hi, Yes you can use this on you chassis if its new metal or old rusty metal. However we recommend patch priming and rusty spots with 2 coats of Corroless S first and then go over the whole lot with this." you will end up having to strip the paint and start again, as they are manufactured using different solvent bases which are not compatible and the QDR paint will react, wrinkle up and fall off. The paint is great stuff if used separately...the attitude of some of the staff at this company supplying it was probably the worst I've ever encountered - challenging, disbelieving, rude, unapologetic, less than helpful, argumentative. Apparently, they sell quite a lot of this combination of paints to Land Rover fans, If I were you I’d go check your paint hasn’t wrinkled up and fallen off, like Arc-Rite’s customer service standards.

This paint dries very quickly and gives a tough, chip resistant finish. I've mainly used it on the underside of vehicles that were showing surface rust and on some commercial vehicle wheel rims. It certainly seems to live up to its claims.

Angle grinded the rust off , and painted it over with this , drys quick, goes on really well.Great product

Quite thick paint that covers well and is easy to use and dries quickly.

I have still to use it on my sons car but looking at the specification it should do well
