Great nostalgia
Nice to hear this again after so many years. Funny how some of these bands from over 20 years ago still manage to outstrip what's on offer from today's run of the mill bands.

disappointing
I bought this on the strength of the reviews posted on here, minimal as they are, and having heard 'Swallow Tails' some years ago. To be honest, the album is very lack lustre, badly produced and recorded and is nowhere near as enjoyable as 'Swallow Tails'. In places the vocals sound muffled and muggy, the guitar solos have very erratic volume levels, and none of the songs impressed me at all. They run into each other and seem to become one long and tedious affair that I just wished would end...three minutes can be surprisingly long when one's interest has taken off and started to contemplate navel fluff for relief. I will give it a few more listenings before consigning it to the marketplace, just in case it proves to be one of those albums that has to grow on you and gradually arouse the interest, but my hopes are not elevated by the prospect. My ethos of buy it and try it has failed me this time, but at least I have a copy of 'Swallow Tails' and that is some vindication of the band and their glory years. Even the very poor rendition of 'Feeling Groovy' grated and jarred the senses, and I think that only 'Watch This Space' merits the one star I have attached to this piece of nostalgia, with the rest of it being middle of the road, late night background muzak of the worst kind. The cover really sums it up in that it appears to have gone very tits upward for me...

Debut album by great lost 1970s band
Great debut album by 1970s band featuring BJ Cole and Mick Grabham (later Procol Harum). Distinctive vocals from Stewart Brown, who left soon after this album. Worth buying for the cover picture (!) by Hypnosis, but if you like 1970s guitar music, then this will take you back!!
