Pros: its easy to install and I ran power to it from the rear 12v charger. I like the adjustable brightness, stobe function not so much.Cons: the adhesive tape on the back of the light doesn't hold very well. Mine fell off after only a few minutes and i cleaned the area and wiped it down with alcohol. I ended up using double sided tape insteadStill recommend this to anyone looking to add some light to the back of their Jeep.

Perfect light for the cargo area. Idea on my XJ and it was super easy to install and very bright.

Great light, great fitment, but terrible adhesive. Luckily I had read previous reviews and already had strong double sided tape and epoxy ready for this thing. I removed the manufacturers adhesive from the light and retaining brackets. The adhesive was literally useless. Like it would not even stick for a few seconds. After replacing the adhesive and epoxying the connection to the wire and housing it went on perfectly. I wired into the stock rear dome, and it works perfectly. I did not use the remote, nor did I connect the wireless sensor. No need. This is a good kit, but it is not complete. If you are willing to do some minor adjustments this light is perfect for the Wrangler JKU’s.-Descent kit-Remove ALL adhesive-Replace with double sided gorilla tape-Epoxy wire where wire meets light housing.6/24/24- LEDs began going out intermittently. Had to throw away.

I like the light and it’s very easy to install but go ahead and buy some stronger double sided tape because the tape that comes on it sucks. Not a deal breaker but just a heads up.

2016 JKU sport. Great product. The ability to adjust the light brightness is great. 100% super bright and perfect for camping. Dim it down when you want to just sit around with a little bit of light My Jeep doesn’t have the auxiliary plug in the back but under the carpet in the back is the wiring and plug that is 12 volts all the time as long as your fuse is set correctly (to the passenger side). I cut and used that wire to power my lights and put an on/off switch in the back. Works great

I like the idea of adding light to the back of my Jeep. I've seen some very nice, seamless installs. Reviews on this product we're good, so I thought I'd try it. The cable attached to the light is quite short. Measuring from where the light attached to the glass, it'll wrap around the window and just make it inside the back. Even with the wireless dongle attached, it will just makes around the corner of the roof. That means the disconnect point is way up high and not near where the top connects to the body. My hope was to run the wire where the other wires route behind the panel so it would be hidden, but then the disconnect wouldn't be reachable. So, for me, there's no way to hide the wiring properly. It won't fit behind the weather stripping since the connected wire ends in a flat 4-wire connector that is too big to conceal that way, requires the dongle to be attached, and no way to hide the dongle using that method. If the connected wire was just 2-3 feet longer, it would have worked.

This ligth is very bright reason why i allways use just at 50%.Contact tape is not the best , but simple to fix with any doble contact one.5 minutes installation,.!!!.Just beautiful.

Update: I decided to buy some real 3M double sided tape and install it. Installation was easy enough. I removed the cover of the subwoofer in the rear of my Jeep to access the wiring for the 12v power plug that’s wired directly to the battery, and connected the wiring for the LED light to it. I also decided to use the remote that came with the light instead of using the switch I bought for it. Twice now I’ve gone out to the Jeep and the light is on. I turned it off with the remote. At some point, it has turned on automatically. NOT happy. Will have to go back to my idea of using a physical switch.I picked a beautiful warm day to install this light in my Jeep Wrangler. Prepared the window mounting location with alcohol, tried to stick it on after peeling back the protective cover — got to about a foot from the start and it started coming loose. 27°C in my garage too. Went back to press down harder — wouldn’t stick. I’m now deciding whether or not to return it or keep it and buy some decent 3M brand tape. What a waste of time (and money).The light is bright enough, and all I need is a single setting for it to come on. But it needs to stay in place. So whoever manufactured this cheaps out on the 2-sided tape. 🤷🏻‍♂️😡
