Worked for me
I bought this adapter after seeing the reviews on here, expecting the included USB charger to be rubbish and having to go out and buy a proper one which supports 3A output (lots of people on the US site say this works as long as you have a decent charger). Other than buying the very expensive Canon option (over £100), there doesn't seem to be many options for the M6ii. So even if the included USB charger didn't work, this still works out a lot cheaper. But thankfully the USB charger that came with mine seems to supply enough power.

Doesn't work for Canon M6
The media could not be loaded. Bought this because it says it works with the Canon M6. Sadly it doesn't.

Unfortunately only works for a few seconds
Unit fits and connects ok, however the Camera cuts out after a few seconds and needs the Camera to be re-started, consequently the unit is not fit for the required purpose. As it is USB powered I used the highest capacity USB PSU I have (Anker 65W), but still no good.

Unstable power for Canon M6 mk ii
Unfortunately the Canon M6 mk ii will on power on for a few seconds before its turns off with an error due to the power not stable from the battery/ power adapter.

it works great for the Canon M6 mark ii
The media could not be loaded. this works great for taking over night time lapses with my m6 mark ii. The people who are leaving negative reviews don't know what they are doing or just go a faulty one. The problem is you need a usb power source that can output 3 amps to activate the shutter. most are 2.1amps. the m6 would not take a photo on 2.1amps. even if the power bank outputs more amps with multiple usb ports most still only allow 2.1amps per usb. took me a while but found a power bank called: POWERADD Pilot 4GS 12000mAh Portable Charger. it outputs 3amps per usb port. worked great, ran my time-lapse all night long and the power bank still had 4 battery dots in the morning. I have another adapter similar to this for my lumix lx10 and have used it for many timelapses, never had an issue.

Works as intended
this product actually does its job. Nice and handy to have when you need to plug into a different power source.

works perfectly out of the box so far
Scoured the review section like you prob are now and just pulled the trigger. I have an m6 mk ii and didn't kill my camera and also fits in perfectly.YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY CLOSE THE BATTERY SLOT OR IT WILL NOT TURN ON FYI.I'm guessing that's why some people say it doesn't work. I plugged it into my pc and use it as a webcam for stream setup.

Does Not Work Canon EOS M6 Mark II
I tried this dummy battery with multiple power banks (Anker, Duracell, LOGiiX brands) and USB wall chargers (Amazon, Anker, Apple, Belkin, Globe Electric, iDapt, Satechi brands). I was unable to get it to work with my Canon EOS M6 Mark II. The Raeisusp dummy battery crashed my camera every time. My camera works fine with the supplied Canon LP-E17 battery as well as 3rd party Bonacell LP-E17 batteries. Since all of my other power supplies and my camera work fine otherwise, I can only conclude that the Raeisusp dummy battery does not work properly. Furthermore, I'm concerned that it may damage my camera if I keep trying to use it. Not wanting to damage my new, and very nice camera, I am going to return this dummy battery.
