I just bought this towel because of cute it is and it did not disappoint. It is super soft and has not slipped or bunched up once during my hot yoga classes. I also brought it to the beach for some beach yoga. It dried really fast after getting wet, even faster than my beach towel. And I was able to wash it in my machine at home.I have gotten so many compliments on this beautiful towel and will definitely be buying some more when Christmas rolls around!

Okay, first, I'll admit I'm not a yoga pro and didn't quite realize what this would be. I read micro fiber yoga towel and 'workout' in the title and thought it would just be a nice soft absorbent work out towel to take with me to the gym to wipe the sweat away. This isn't that. But it's a really nice, yoga mat sized towel that is a little grippy to stay in place and indeed absorbent. The purple is pretty. I can see why it would be great for hot yoga and for taking to the beach. The title also says it's good for hair drying, but it'd be a little unwieldy for that - it's yoga-mat length.

For regular yoga, I think this is an okay towel. It is long and would cover up most mats. As a yoga towel, it has a nice color and scent. I do think it could use some sort of grips on one side to help reduce sliding on mats. If it were to be used on a different surface that lack of grips would not be an issue. This towel is thin, which means it will be absorbent, but only to a degree. To be more absorbent would require a thicker towel. So, how is the value for my money? At a regular price, I would say it is not a good value. At the current reduced price, it is more of a value, but I'm kind of on the fence to say whether it is worth the cost.

I've seen some confusion from folks who order a yoga towel and expect it to be a yoga mat. This is not the same as a yoga mat and shouldn't be thought of as a suitable replacement. Sure, you can use this instead of a mat, and it would work well on carpet, sand, or other soft materials. I don't think you'll find it very comfortable on hardwood floors though. This is really meant to be used on top of a mat, both to keep your sweat and dirt off the mat, and whatever gunk and germs is on the mat (gym mats) from getting on you. This is a review of Stratosphere41 Super Absorbent Bikram Micro-Fiber Fitness Non-Slip Towel This is a gorgeous towel. It makes me happy to look at it. It fits my long yoga mat perfectly, both in length and width, which is nice. Most towels are not long enough. BUT it slips around. There are no little grippy dots to keep it in place. So if I am doing slow or seated yoga poses, the towel works well. But if I am doing fast asanas, it moves about way too much.I do not do ‘hot yoga,’ so perhaps the towel works differently for hot yoga. It washes and dries well. I took off a star for not being non-slip.

I've tried a few other types of yoga towels, the one I'd been using previously has pockets at the corners to fit around my mat and stay in place. Amazingly the Stratosphere41 towel does a better job, even with no pockets! The textured material of the towel has enough grip that it doesn't slip on my mat or my hands, no matter how much I sweat. It's the perfect size to fit my Manduka pro mat, or any other full-size yoga mat. The purple cloud print is very cute and hasn't faded in the wash. I love that it's low-maintenance - just machine wash and either hang or tumble dry. It's now an essential in my yoga/ gym bag!

Maybe its my fault and i should've assumed that because its meant for yoga that the towel is huge. I usually wear a towel around my neck when its hot outside and I'm working in the heat. There's no way i could've done that with his towel though because its like six feet long. I did like the material though so i tried cutting it down to size, but then it frayed and fell apart lol. So i suppose all the complaints i have are of my own doing, but i really thought based on the photos that this would be much smaller.

I got this mostly because it's so lightweight and easy to carry. With this towel, I don't need to bring a yoga mat to the gym. I can simply use the ones they provide and just put the towel on top and have an extra layer of protection. I love that! The color of the towel is super pretty and it looks really good. It's not very absorbent - I poured some water on it and it took a while to absorb, and the water went through the towel - but my main purpose for this towel was not to dry anything soaking wet. It would do just fine drying my body, but like I said, I just wanted this to protect me from the gym mats and it serves its purpose well.
