Good cable
Appeared to be a great cable for my winch but sadly the end was not correct for attaching to the drum on my winch so I returned it.

Good value!
I had some 15 year old synthetic rope on my winch and decided it was time to replace it. This one seemed like a good choice. I don't use a hook, so the fact that it came with a simple hook didn't matter.I bumped up from 5/16" rope to this 3/8" rope, and was able to get it all spooled onto my XD9000i with no problems. (I spooled it on under tension, rather than loose by hand...)I was a little disappointed with the eye loop, which uses a cheaper metal thimble than some, but I'm using a 5/8" shackle with it, so it won't deform much anyway in my case. The rope guard at the hook is nice. I'm not sure what the real purpose of the guard at the beginning is... The drum doesn't get hot unless you're winching out over the brake for long periods of time, which is pretty dumb in the first place... I kept it for now, but I may move it to the hook end to try and protect more of the exposed winch rope from UV.I did have to purchase a slightly longer 1/4"-20 allen screw to mount it, as the fixed end of the cable is about 1/4" thick, while my original screw was only about 1/4" long. A 1/2" long screw was the ticket.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this winch rope, though i haven't actually had to really use it yet.

Include Winch Loading Instructions?
At first i thought 100' of .375" (3/8") Dyneema would not fit on my winch after winding it in TWICE. I even did it rather tightly. But, then I went online and looked for info on how to properly wind a winch. On the third try I got it on and it looks great. (The photo of the gray line - attached - shows after my second attempt.)Two points to be made here; 1. Offer the winch line for your new winches in a choice of colors, and 2. include some instructions on getting the line onto the winch properly.I like X-Bull a lot so far! I want to see you all do really well. I bought my 13,000 lb winch with the 85' of blue Dyneema that comes on it from your warehouse. I had to sell that and then buy a gray 100-footer to match my Jeep better and give even more length. The other photo attached shows the day after I installed the winch - pulling my Jeep UP out of a hole using the handy remote control. This thing is great! And, my new gray rope looks good too.*Anyone who is looking for instructions on properly winding your winch, check out the Seven Slots group on Facebook. We will be adding a tutorial.

did not fit out of box
did not fit on my winch out of box. I had to get another screw and tap it out to the same size as the one that was on my winch to begin with. once i did that it worked fine and no issues.

Good bang for the buck
Good prouduct for the price. Has higher breaking strength than a lot of the 1/2”

Good value
Put this on a 10K Smittybilt. Worked fine. I did add some heat shrink to keep the sleeves in place. Good value for the money
