No easy to work with. It cuts potatoes extremely thin. Very hard to work with as it just falls over.

I have this same style grater in my home country. The suction is fine on a smooth, clean surface. I only use this for cheese, so I cannot comment on its use with vegetables, but I would suspect it does not work well with anything harder than carrots. It does not grate cheese, but it shreds it just fine. The plastic this is made from is more brittle than the plastic in my similar unit. This unit was also harder to assemble, which you must do every time after cleaning. In particular, the handle was very difficult to lock in to tbe rotary unit, and the feeder chute took some effort to fully lock into place.All of the above having been said, this gets 4 stars at this price point, with one additional star having been added to its otherwise 3 star rating due to the value for money spent. For light use, this grater will work well.
