Go Fish for Modern Artists Card Game

This is exactly what I expected. We have not played it as a game yet but the information is enjoyable to read along with the art. And this was exactly what I purchased it for. My daughter soaks in tons of knowledge and this is the type of stuff she enjoys looking at, especially during car rides (she is 11 for reference).

This is definitely for older kids. As you try to get groups of 4 paintings from the same artist to get a set. My husband and I enjoyed it, our kids not so much.

I love these sets. But I do get upset because I want to use these for my younger art students but in every type of deck there is at least one nude art work. My district does not allow me to show art with nudity so I have to remove those cards from the deck. Other than that I find this to be an AWESOME way to train students in viewing art. :)

We have purchased 3 other decks in the "Go Fish for Art" series, but this one has become our new favorite. The rules and deck have been slightly modified, and it makes the game faster-paced and more cut-throat (in a fun way). In this case, there are more artists, but only 4 paintings per artist (as opposed to some decks that have fewer artists but more paintings). The artists are interesting to learn about and the art is fun to look at, especially for the younger players. Lots of fun!

An excellent simple games for kids and adults that helps to appreciate the art of the world while playing a fun game, We recommend.

Perfect for "art centers" in my elementary classroom. The kids did find one card they called inappropriate (nude). I removed it.

Our kids like go fish but they love go fish for art! A great fun way to learn about art. Try the other sets. Best if played with fewer players (3-4).
