GMB 130-2140 OE Replacement Water Pump with Gasket

Failed after less than 15k miles. I’ve bought this brand of water pumps before in the past for other vehicles and have been fine. Put this on my moms 2013 Chevy sonic and it lasted less than a year 15k miles. I’m not one of those reviewers who installs parts wrong and then complains here this was installed correctly with supplied hardware and now seeps and has a death rattle. Thankfully I caught it in time before I got a call from her that the car was overheating as happened when the oem pump failed. She hasn’t driven it since. Get the acdelco pump or another reputable brand

arrived on time came with gasket and new thermostat gasket pretty simple install for anyone thats mechanically inclined took about 40 min id recomend this product for around 30 bucks car runs around 10 degrees cooler and the 1.4 is known for water pumps leaking and both thermostat housings id recomend a new thermostat housing if ur installing a water pump only because they are known for cracking that way ya have a spare down the road if needed 5 stars all the way

Includes water pump to engine block gasket and thermostat gasket. You’ll need high-temperature gasket maker to complete the job correctly. Comes with instructions but without the torque pattern or rating. All the bolts on the Chevy Cruze are different lengths. Very important to mark the locations.

Bought in March. Trash in October. 7 months and then junk. Garbage. Do not buy. If it was free it still wouldn't be worth it.

Exact match for my Cruze. Only thing is OEM's gasket is made of metal and the inlcuded one on this replacement is of i would say flexible material dont know what it is but felt clothe like. Installed let sit for a day started her up sound like the blades were scraping but after driving for 5 minutes it stopped (real meaning of breaking her in)

Exact fit, metal gasket, no noise from pump after fitting. Mechanic friend said most of the time with expensive parts you predominantly pay for the name. Great advice. Easy job once you’ve got the area ready for fitting. I’ve done 1000 miles so far so here’s hoping!🤞🏻

Worked great also this water pump includes a seal for thermostat bad part is that gasket for water pump is basically cardboard I had to go mexico to go buy a metal gasket sinse the auto stores in the usa dont sell the metal version but still for the price I paid cant leave nothing less than 5 stars

Pump seems to be good. Only time will tell. Bad gasket. Needed car so went and bought a gasket. Not such a bargain now.
