It's not this part's fault that GM designed the door to make installation tough. My old regulator was worn out. There just isn't a lot of room inside the door, but it is possible to get the old one out and the new one in. Allow plenty of time and it'll be worth it. It is so nice to be able to use the drive-through again!

My OEM window motor would randomly not raise after being lowered. Supposedly there is an internal circuit breaker that trips when trying to raise the window and you have to drive the truck around for a minute until the breaker resets itself. Pain in the butt removing the rivets out of the old one and installing the new one onto the window track. However, I got this new one installed yesterday and it has worked fine so far. Does not come with any rivets or bolts/nuts to mount it to the door. I used a cheap screw/washer/bolt kit from Ace Hardware store to secure it to the inside door panel where rivets once were. So far so good. I will say it’s not made out of all metal like the OEM one. It has a lot of plastic so I don’t expect it to last forever.
