This stuff worked really quickly. I left it in for about 15 minutes and my hair came out a very black. It is a pretty large bottle compared to how much was needed. One bottle of this will get many uses and last me a long time. It was great getting to try this product out!

Thought I would get better geaycoverage. Left on for 30 minutes the first time and covered some grays. Then I left on for 5-10 minutes a week later and two weeks later. Still have grays. Last week I left for 30 minutes. Covered some grays. I don't use it every week. It did lighted the rest of my hair to a chestnut brown my hair is natural dark brown. I may try the dark brown next time? Idk.

I dye my hair regularly and use reliable hair color shampoo. This brand qualifies as reliable because my hair was dyed quickly and was left feeling fresh and clean. It goes on as expected and washes all without leaving any residue on my hand towels. The bottle is uniquely designed to dispense the dye and shampoo simultaneously with little or no cleanup. I had a few days old hair with some product in it. I put this in my hair dry. Waited 10-20mins with the provided plastic hair net. Showered and noticed the difference immediately. Like some other reviewers noticed, there is a noticeable rotten egg stench with hair dye smell-- so make sure to have other types of shampoos in your shower arsenal aside from this one, don't use this one regularly LOL. The consistency of the shampoo when washing felt like hair dye, so crunchy and stiff on the hair. Get a good hair mask. One thing I did not notice in other reviews was whether this hair dye targeted gray hair specifically, or whether it was a black hair dye shampoo overall. It is very much the latter. My hair is thick, textured, natural brown black. I get wirey gray patterned hair. After using this shampoo. my entire head is a VERY close to black dark brown. This definitely dyes the entire head, which is good for people with: Gray hair, overgrown roots, wanting to cover up highlights or ombres, wanting to dye the entire head in general.

Ordered this for our teens. One likes the black hair look but, was regularly experiencing color fade. With this product she uses it maybe once a week and has perfectly blackck hair at all times. There is an odor to the color but, that is normal. The directions were clear and easy to understand. It does not leave a mess in the shower, which was a nice surprise. We would recommend this product and we would purchase again.
