If you are a Faulkner fan, and I am, you will really enjoy this collection. It's a classic, and I love having it on my Kindle - it makes perfect reading when you don't have time to get into something longer and heavier.

Faulkner is a brilliant writer. His stories though awfully depressing work on so many levels. He captures the nuances of the south in its time. I highly recommend anything he writes and I also highly recommend discussing it with people as it just comes even more alive.

Just perfect as everything written by Faulkner. It depicts a southern society but at the same time any narrow conservative small town, where your class and rank determine your life and people's stereotype about you.

EXCELLENT BOOK TO READ. I PURCHASED THIS FOR A ESSAY FOR COLLEGE. I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD LIKE IT AT FIRST. BUT AFTER READING IT, I LOVED IT
