Fun book. Perfect for chess lovers.
Fun book but there are some mistakes 😜. Some questions could have been written better.

Nice sized book with lots of thought provoking puzzles
This chess puzzle book is a great size for doing puzzles. It is on the larger size, so not great for traveling, but good for home use. I got it for my 13 year old daughter and she definitely found the puzzles challenging but doable with concentration. She loves chess and wants to enhance her problem-solving skills. This is a nice gift for chess lovers or anyone that enjoys puzzle books in general. There is a nice mix of picture and word puzzles. Overall, a good book that will keep someone busy for hours.

Lots of puzzles!
This is a really fun puzzle book for any chess fan. It's a pretty large book with 365 puzzles. In the end of the book you get solutions to all the puzzles. Most of the puzzles ARE chess themed but there are some that are word searches. So there is a little break from chess puzzles every few days. They vary in difficulty from questions about general chess rules/moves to puzzles using pieces.A very fun book!

Not quite at the level I was expecting
Going by the name I expected puzzles that fell on the more challenging side of things than the ones that are included in this, or even at least mostly chess related puzzles. The ones in this are fine for just keeping the mind occupied and doing when bored, but they arent really deeply challenging or of the type that the "The Chess Lover's" on the cover would lead you to think. I can certainly see the appeal of these, it's just not where my expectations were set.

Nice engaging chess puzzle book
This book is ideal for anyone who is fond of chess and even more fascinated by trying out different chess puzzles. Once you start, difficult to stop mid way. Puzzles are very interesting and challenging so overall you find them more engaging and helps improve your chess thinking and playing knowledge.

chess?
The book reminded me that old Simpsons episode where smart Lisa was sent to a girls' school and where she is suffering from the math class where the teacher asks "Nine! How do you feel about nine?" and all they do is they colorThis book has the same relation to chess as that Lisa Simpson's math class to a math class. It is filled with chess pieces, but you do not solve chess puzzles at all. It has nothing to do with actual chess, they could have used any other set of objects like tea cups or pebbles in the puzzles instead. THe puzzles are mostly really easy meant for elementary school - find two of the same figures, word search and such. I only found one (1) chess puzzle that is about chess but frankly I got too bored to look through. The questions without the pictures are simply trivia questions like what year or who won and such. Nothing original and all really boring.
