Although the basic smell is the same, it is much weaker than the original, having a much lighter note altogether; neither does it last as long. I tried a little of each on opposite arms and the new arrival disappeared after a couple of hours, whereas the original was still good some six hours later. Note that the volume (50ml) is 50% less than the EDT (100ml) which is why it's a similar price, so that makes sense. It's also coming from the Guy Laroche store itself so I'm pretty sure it will be genuine.
