This is sturdy and well-built and does the job that I wanted to do. I like that it will stay closed up in the drawer and open when I want it by pulling the thing on the top.

Bought for my 86 year old Mother to use when topping up her open fire. grips the coal/coke better than conventional tongs and easier foe to use with a weakened grip. She loves them.
