Liked it just what I needed. Expanded my camera viewings.

I picked up this webcam to be able to provide a second-angle view of my studio when streaming. The webcam was simply plug-and-play in Windows 10 and was immediately recognized by OBS, Discord, and Zoom. Because I am using this to capture a wide-angle view of my studio I do not use the auto-framing. Unfortunately, the only way that I could find to zoom in the camera is to turn auto-framing on in the NearSync app. I was unable to find a way to manually adjust the framing or zoom with the camera controls within OBS. This apparent lack of versatility is reflected in my rating and I will update if I can find a way to make manual adjustments.If you are looking to add a 4K webcam to your computer this works well, but know that you will need to download a separate app to activate the auto-framing. Finally, if you are the kind to be concerned about privacy and security be aware that this webcam does not have a lens cover. I was not concerned by this, but some users may want to be made aware.

My son wanted to start recording himself playing video games with his new Logitech wheel/pedals etc but from different angles then where a regular webcam sits and this is nice because you can attach to anywhere on your monitor or even anywhere that’s thin enough for the camera to attach too. It moves around just like a webcam that comes on a laptop. The picture quality is great and it’s easy to set up and install.

Was promised as compatible w/ WIN11. It is not.

I've been using this webcam for a while now and there are absolutely no problems with it at all. The set-up was super easy and you can use it on a laptop that already has a webcam, just switch over to it specifically when using it. It is not too big and it sits on top of my monitor.The quality is fantastic. It moves from side to side and up and down like any other webcam. It has a cool light which is handy if the room is dark. There is an on and off switch on the camera itself. For the price, it is a really great webcam.

Let me say up front that I'm not a video pro. I'm just an ordinary user who uses video in my business for video meetings, shooting training videos, etc. and this review is written from that perspective.That said, I really like this webcam! It does everything I need from a webcam, and it does it very well. Now to specifics....The webcam is definitely plug-and-play -- just plug it into your computer and it starts working immediately, no other installation required. The auto-focus works great, right out of the box. The auto-framing, however, is turned off by default. To activate auto-framing, you need to install the NEARSYNC app (Windows or Mac version) from Nuroum's website, select "Device Setting" and then select "auto framing" from "Cam mode". (Panorama mode is the default.) The app also allows you to control the saturation, brightness, contrast, and hue, and it also shows you the image that the camera is delivering.The auto-focus seems to work great (as long as you have adequate light); it takes less than a second for it to refocus. The auto-framing also works great; there's about a 2-second delay for it to detect a change and reframe the shot. I'm not used to auto-framing, so I'm impressed with the technology, but I'm not sure how much I'll actually need it or use it. But it's still sexy.The 90-degree field of view is great -- much better than the webcam I was using before. It gives a super-wide view in panoramic mode, or a lot of flexibility when it's auto-framing and zooming.The 2 built-in noise-cancelling microphones work well, but I haven't used them enough yet to say whether or not I prefer them to my lavalier mic. But I'm very glad they're there, and I might end up using them a lot.I thought the ring light (see photos) might be a gimmick, but it actually produces a surprising amount of light. It has 3 levels of brightness, and when I'm close to the camera, the brightest level is actually uncomfortably bright. (The lowest level is fine, though, for up-close work.) You'll probably still need a secondary light source, but the ring light is definitely nice to have.The ring light (on / off + brightness level) and camera itself (on / off) are controlled by touch-switches on the top of the camera. Everything else is controlled by the NEARSYNC app. Easy to use and great results!As I said at the beginning, this webcam does everything I need or want from a webcam, and it does it very well. Highly recommended!

Will do what you need it to as a webcam; fairly solid and nice picture, but nothing really outstanding in terms of quality or features,

I got this for my son and it was easy for him to hook up to his laptop. The picture quality is great and it captures sound really well. It's pretty affordable and not to big. Zooms in pretty far and still has good picture quality. Really nice.
