No light is shining onto the salt rocks and the night light is unresponsive. What am I doing wrong? The top part seems to work fine.

Am I supposed to put the crystal salt inside with the water for the humidifier or keep them out on the dish?

Why is it so expensive? I like to purchase from Amazon but I've seen this item on other sites less than half the cost here.

Why does mines turn off every time I try to turn it on? It stays on for a second and automatically shuts off.
