I wanted a small dish to grill individual burgers or a couple of sausages etc and I prefer cast iron to coated non-stick pans. This one is great at this price and the wooden serving tray is just a handy bonus as a pot stand for use straight out of the oven. I really don't understand the numerous reviews for many cast iron pans that talk about rust or discolouration or food sticking...as long as you do the following:1. season it well before first use2. let it cool after cooking in it, and then clean it using just hot water and a steel (or similarly tough) scourer (no soap!) and definitely don't put in a dishwasher3. make sure it's fully dry straight away...don't let it sit in a dish rack4. do not cook acidic foods like tomatoes or vinegar in it (it will remove the seasoning)5. wipe a little vegetable oil over the full cooking surface with a paper towel.Following these simple rules I've never had to re-season a pan and all my cast iron pans (and carbon steel ones) are more non-stick than teflon. The more you use them the more non-stick they become!

I did have to return these as they were too small. However, they are great quality.

This dish is smaller than i thoughtThought it was for 2 people ,but no its for one ,I will still keep as love the dish itself

These are great, nice size for 1 portion and value for money. Would definitely recommend.

The quality is good, but the size is small and I should have paid more attention to one of the reviews. Saying it would serve 2 -4 is pushing it, 1-2 maybe! The internal base dimensions are 14.5cm x 9cm so I don't know where they measured the 16cm x 11cm. I am keeping it as it will have its uses but not what I had intended it for

What happens when you put a sizzling dish on a varnished wooden base !! It sticks of course! Welding the pan to the wood !! What a crazy idea to varnish it .....words fail me.

El articulo es tal y como lo describen,un plato de hierro fundido.Lo compre expresamente para la carne para que no perdiera temperatura en la mesa ,en eso hace su funcion.para mi la pega esta en el asidero que se lo podian haber currado un poco mas engancha fatal en los bordes
