It is the original one so as the logic fits perfectly well.

Out of spec product not a replacement for original part
Exactly after 4 months the hose developed a kink in it. Ordered original part from Grohe and the difference in resistance to pinching in the two hoses is day and night. This replacement hose is significantly weaker and easier to squeeze with your hand. No there was nothing faulty in the install. Impossible to mess that up. Don't waste your $60 on this. Pay a little more and the original hose from Grohe.
