I'm fascinated with Modelones' 133-piece kit. It comes super complete: gel enamels of beautiful colors, files, brushes, decorations, LED lamp and all the necessary accessories for a professional manicure at home. The quality of the products is excellent: the enamels have very good pigmentation, last weeks without peeling and the lamp dries very quickly. I loved the variety of tools included, which allow you to experiment with different nail design techniques. In addition, the packaging is very beautiful and organized, also ideal as a gift. A perfect investment for beginners and professionals!

I love this kit! The amount of colors is insane, I can come up with many different combinations.. this was my first time using it and I am a beginner, it was so easy to work with, ofc it will get better with time. But to all my beginners I do recommend watching some YouTube videos, they really helped me understand the basics and even more complicated styles. Way cheaper than going to the nail salon.

The kit works well but it is a bit mess and hard to use the first couple times. I found it most difficult to keep the layers even and move the product around to get them even and there was little instruction on how to do that properly. I wish it came with a couple more clips so I could do more fingers at the same time. The light provided works, but I found that one with an opening on one side and lights down the side works better for the product. With the light provided, you will need to cure them longer than mentioned and I recommend flipping them to make sure they are fully cured before doing anything else. The polish bottles for the base and whatnot are tiny so be mindful of that but overall nice colors and a good amount of product for the price.

I appreciate the concept for beginners as it produces some decent results. My 14 yr old did hers and she has never done nails before and they turned out decent. I was a nail tech and I was able to manipulate the materials to do on my own. It has a different consistency than builder gel. I prefer the builder gel. I did not like the clips. It squished too much material out of the sides and back. I also noticed that a lot of material gathers at the underside of the nail near the free edge. And with the delicate touch you have to have with the dual form it’s not easy to brush it away so it leaves a thick underside. I sold all my gel tools so I didn’t have my drill with my diamond bit to file out all the excess material. My overall opinion is that it is great for beginners but for someone who has experience in using builder gel I would definitely choose that instead. I’m not sure how removal is, I saw someone else’s review on a different side saying that it did not come off with acetone but I’m not sure if she filed the surface down which I did see in the instruction booklet that you have to file a decent amount of material away from the top so that the acetone can penetrate and dissolve. I’m not sure of the longevity as I only did them yesterday evening. A lot of people don’t realize that proper nail prep is VITAL to the longevity of any manicure or artificial nail. So those who say they came off the next day I’m thinking that was most likely due to improper prep. Hope this helps!

The set it set is beautiful. However, it is like pulling teeth trying to put that gel on the nail and get it right. I worked in this for an hour and all I had to show for it was one crooked nail and one nail that had a lot of extra gel on the inside of the nail. Just save your time and do regular gel polish or pay someone to do your nails for you.

If you know how to do your own nails with acrylics and take your time they are awesome. Learning the right amount to use takes a little practice. I also would recommend that you get a good brush set to use. I did my own and my mom's this afternoon for Easter and they look wonderful.
